Marketplace delivery in Chinnor: seller to door
How it works round here.
Chinnor, Oxfordshire • Marketplace Delivery
Chinnor sits in the OX39 postcode area at the foot of the Chilterns, with Princes Risborough station just over three miles off and the town of Thame a little further beyond that.
It's a spot where a lot of furniture and larger buys come from sellers spread across the surrounding villages rather than one town centre, which makes getting a sofa, an appliance or a set of garden furniture home a bit more of a puzzle than it ought to be.
Van & Driver is bringing its Marketplace Delivery service to Chinnor soon. Once it launches, the idea is straightforward: you book a van and driver for a fixed price, they collect the item from the seller, drive it to your door, and help carry it in, whether that's a chair, a bike, gym kit or a full load. There's no need to hire a van yourself, work out logistics with a stranger on a marketplace listing, or find someone to help lift a wardrobe up the stairs.
We're not yet able to take bookings for Chinnor while we bring local partner drivers on board to cover the town and neighbouring places like Princes Risborough and Thame. Once that's in place, this page will let you book collection and delivery for Chinnor and the surrounding area directly, at a fixed price agreed before the job starts.

Do I need to be at the collection?+
No. Give the seller’s address and contact in the notes; pay the seller yourself before the driver arrives.

Yes, if you book by 3pm and a driver is free: the earliest arrival is the hour after next. After 3pm, the earliest is 1pm tomorrow. The price is the same any day.
Will two people come?+
