Marketplace delivery in Farncombe: seller to door
How it works round here.
Farncombe, Surrey • Marketplace Delivery
Farncombe sits just a mile or so from Guildford, with its own station less than a mile from the centre and Godalming's close enough to walk if you fancy it.
That kind of closeness matters when you've bought a sofa online or spotted a set of garden chairs going cheap and need them brought back to your GU7 address without a fuss. Van & Driver's Marketplace Delivery is built for exactly this: we collect from the seller, carry the item out, and deliver it to your door, whether it's a two-seater sofa, a washing machine, a bundle of garden furniture or bikes and gym kit you've picked up secondhand. The van does the heavy lifting and the awkward corners, so you don't have to borrow a boot or beg a neighbour with a roof rack.
Because Farncombe is so tightly packed against Godalming and within easy reach of Guildford, most collections and drop-offs happen at a fixed price agreed before the van sets off, so there's no meter running and no surprises when you get to the far end. Whether the seller is round the corner in Farncombe itself or over towards Guildford's shops, the job is priced the same way from the start. It's a straightforward way to get bulky buys home without needing a van of your own, wherever in the GU7 area you happen to live.

Do I need to be at the collection?+
No. Give the seller’s address and contact in the notes; pay the seller yourself before the driver arrives.

Will two people come?+
When the job needs them (a sofa, a wardrobe, a fridge, or a medium load and up) two people come, and that's already in the price. We decide it from what you're moving; there's nothing to choose or pay extra for.

Anywhere in England. A move includes the first 10 miles, then £1.80 a mile, shown in the price before you pay; over 150 miles we give you a quote instead. Tip runs have no distance charge.
Is the price fixed?+
Yes. You see the whole price before you book and that's what you pay: no hourly rate, and nothing added on the day for stairs, waiting or a heavy sofa, unless what you're moving changes.
