Furniture delivery in Hersham: shops and pick-ups
How it works round here.
Hersham, Surrey • Furniture Delivery
Hersham sits inside the KT12 postcode, with two railway stations — Walton-on-Thames and Hersham itself — within less than a mile of one another, an unusual overlap for a town of this size.
That kind of layout matters when you're shifting a sofa or a wardrobe across town, since the streets around both stations can be tight for loading, and permit parking a mile and a half out gives a sense of how closely managed the area is. Van & Driver is preparing to bring its Furniture Delivery service to Hersham, covering sofas and armchairs, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and drawers, and tables and chairs. Once running, the service will include collection and delivery, blankets and straps to protect items on the move, and either one or two people depending on the job, all agreed at a fixed price beforehand. Nearby Walton-on-Thames, just over a mile away, along with Esher and Weybridge, will sit within the same local network, so a delivery between Hersham and its neighbours will carry the same pricing as a job that stays within the town itself. At the moment we don't have partner drivers signed up to cover Hersham, so nothing can be booked here yet. The intention is to bring the same fixed-price furniture delivery service already running in other towns to this part of Surrey before long, and this page will be updated as soon as that happens.
