Marketplace delivery in Esher: seller to door
How it works round here.
Esher, Surrey • Marketplace Delivery
Esher sits within the KT10 postcode, with three stations, Claygate, Esher and Hersham, all within a mile and a quarter of the centre, making it an easy town to reach whether you're coming from the shops or the platform.
Van & Driver's Marketplace Delivery service is designed for exactly this kind of place: collecting a sofa, chair, appliance, piece of garden furniture or bike you've bought from a seller nearby, and bringing it straight to your door with help carrying it in. We're not yet set up with partner drivers in Esher, but the service is on its way, covering not just the town itself but neighbours such as Hersham, just over a mile off, and West Molesey a little further on towards the Thames. Once live, the same fixed-price approach will apply across these local trips, so you'll know the cost of getting a new armchair or washing machine home before you commit to buying it. Esher's mix of station links and nearby towns makes it a natural fit for this kind of door-to-door delivery, and we'll share full details of coverage and booking as soon as local drivers are on board. In the meantime, do check back, as we're actively working on bringing Marketplace Delivery to KT10 addresses soon.

Do I need to be at the collection?+
No. Give the seller’s address and contact in the notes; pay the seller yourself before the driver arrives.

Yes, if you book by 3pm and a driver is free: the earliest arrival is the hour after next. After 3pm, the earliest is 1pm tomorrow. The price is the same any day.
Will two people come?+
When the job needs them (a sofa, a wardrobe, a fridge, or a medium load and up) two people come, and that's already in the price. We decide it from what you're moving; there's nothing to choose or pay extra for.

Is the price fixed?+
Yes. You see the whole price before you book and that's what you pay: no hourly rate, and nothing added on the day for stairs, waiting or a heavy sofa, unless what you're moving changes.
