Marketplace delivery in West Molesey: seller to door
How it works round here.
West Molesey, Surrey • Marketplace Delivery
West Molesey sits within the KT8 postcode district, with Esher just 1.6 miles to the south and Kingston upon Thames a short hop further on across the Thames.
It's this position, tucked between the river and the Surrey commuter towns, that makes the area a common source of Marketplace Delivery enquiries — people buying a sofa listed in Hinchley Wood, a set of garden chairs from a seller near Thames Ditton, or a treadmill spotted on an app in Walton-on-Thames, all needing someone to collect it and bring it home.
Van & Driver is preparing to launch Marketplace Delivery in West Molesey, covering the kind of collection and delivery jobs that come up again and again around here: sofas and chairs, appliances, garden furniture, bikes and gym kit. The idea is straightforward — a driver collects the item from the seller, brings it to your door, and helps carry it in, so you're not left wrestling a wardrobe up the stairs on your own or hiring a van you don't know how to drive.
We're not yet able to take bookings for West Molesey, as we don't currently have partner drivers covering the town, but we're working on it. Once the service goes live, residents here and in neighbouring places such as Esher and Kingston upon Thames will be able to book a fixed-price van and driver for exactly this sort of job. In the meantime, check back for updates on when Marketplace Delivery becomes available in your area.

Yes, if you book by 3pm and a driver is free: the earliest arrival is the hour after next. After 3pm, the earliest is 1pm tomorrow. The price is the same any day.
Will two people come?+
When the job needs them (a sofa, a wardrobe, a fridge, or a medium load and up) two people come, and that's already in the price. We decide it from what you're moving; there's nothing to choose or pay extra for.

Yes. You see the whole price before you book and that's what you pay: no hourly rate, and nothing added on the day for stairs, waiting or a heavy sofa, unless what you're moving changes.
