Marketplace delivery in Richmond upon Thames: seller to door
How it works round here.
Richmond upon Thames, Richmond upon Thames • Marketplace Delivery
Strawberry Hill station sits barely a quarter-mile from the centre here, close enough that St Mary's University students and locals across the TW1, TW2 and TW9 postcodes often collect their marketplace finds on foot before realising a sofa or wardrobe needs rather more than a determined walk home.
That's where Van & Driver is designed to help, once we launch in Richmond upon Thames. We're setting up cover for the borough, including trips out towards Kingston upon Thames and Hounslow, so that collecting a secondhand sofa, an appliance, garden furniture or a bike from a seller's address becomes someone else's problem to solve. The idea is simple: rather than juggling a hired van, awkward parking permits, or asking a friend with a estate car, you'll be able to arrange collection from the seller and delivery straight to your door, with help carrying the item in once it arrives. Richmond upon Thames has plenty of tight streets and permit parking to navigate, from around Teddington to the riverside, and getting a bulky item home safely is often the trickiest part of buying secondhand. We're building local coverage so that residents here, and those moving items to or from neighbouring Kingston upon Thames, will have a straightforward way to get marketplace purchases delivered without the hassle of doing it themselves.
