Furniture delivery in Richmond upon Thames: shops and pick-ups
How it works round here.
Richmond upon Thames, Richmond upon Thames • Furniture Delivery
Strawberry Hill station sits just a few minutes from the centre of Richmond upon Thames, and it's this cluster of small stations, Fulwell and Teddington among them, that makes the borough such a patchwork of tightly packed neighbourhoods rather than one single hub.
Van & Driver is preparing to launch Furniture Delivery here, covering sofas and armchairs, beds and mattresses, wardrobes and drawers, and tables and chairs, moved by one or two people with blankets and straps and a fixed price agreed before the job starts. Once live, the service will suit moves across postcode districts such as TW1, TW9 and TW11, as well as trips out towards neighbouring Kingston upon Thames or Hounslow, both a short drive from the centre. Richmond upon Thames has plenty of terraced streets and period conversions where a straightforward collection and delivery, rather than a full house move, makes more sense, and that's the gap this service is built to fill. We can't yet confirm exact timing or connect you with a local partner driver, but the plan is to bring the same fixed-price, fully equipped approach used elsewhere to this part of south-west London. In the meantime, this page will be updated as soon as cover begins, so it's worth checking back if you're planning a delivery in or around the borough.
