Tip runs in Prestwood and Great Missenden: what we take
How it works round here.
Prestwood and Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire • Tip Runs
Prestwood and Great Missenden sits within the HP16 postcode, a mile or so from Great Missenden station.
It's the kind of place where a boot full of garden waste or an old sofa means a proper trip out towards High Wycombe or Chesham to get rid of it, and permit and booking rules at some of these sites make that harder than it should be. Van & Driver is bringing its Tip Runs service to Prestwood and Great Missenden soon, covering old furniture, garden waste, DIY and renovation waste, and general boxes and bags. The idea is straightforward: someone loads it from your home or garden, takes it to a licensed disposal site, and hands over a waste transfer note, all for a fixed price agreed upfront rather than anything worked out by the hour. Once the service is live here, that will mean no need to hire a van yourself, work out where you're allowed to tip garden or renovation waste, or juggle permit slots at sites like Bledlow Ridge or Chesham. For now, keep an eye on this page, as Prestwood and Great Missenden will be added to the areas Van & Driver's local partner drivers cover in due course.
