Tip runs in Princes Risborough: what we take
How it works round here.
Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire • Tip Runs
Princes Risborough sits under the HP27 postcode, beneath the Chiltern escarpment.
Van & Driver is bringing its Tip Runs service here soon, covering the clearance of old furniture, garden waste, DIY and renovation waste, and general boxes and bags from homes and gardens across the town. Once live, every booking will include loading at your property, disposal at a licensed recycling centre, a waste transfer note for your records, and a fixed price agreed before the job starts, so there are no surprises on the day. The service is designed for the kind of jobs that build up after a house move, a garden tidy, or a renovation project — the sort of clearance that's awkward to fit into a car boot but doesn't need a full removals firm. We're not yet able to take bookings in Princes Risborough, and no partner driver currently covers the area, but the Bledlow Ridge site nearby, along with routes out towards Chinnor and Haddenham, mean the town is well placed for this kind of local waste run once the service launches. In the meantime, residents can keep an eye out for Tip Runs becoming available here, ready to handle the loading, the paperwork, and the drop-off in one straightforward booking, without the hassle of arranging disposal separately or hiring a skip for a single load of unwanted items from home.

A single item is £55 to £85 by size, a move £69 to £349 by load, a tip run from £70 and a house clearance from £599. The first 10 miles of a move are included, then £1.80 a mile. Every price is fixed and shown before you book.

Yes, if you book by 3pm and a driver is free: the earliest arrival is the hour after next. After 3pm, the earliest is 1pm tomorrow. The price is the same any day.
Will two people come?+
When the job needs them (a sofa, a wardrobe, a fridge, or a medium load and up) two people come, and that's already in the price. We decide it from what you're moving; there's nothing to choose or pay extra for.
